Making DNA
We had so much fun studying DNA today. The best part of the lesson was making DNA out of licorace and colored marshmellows. I got the idea from Pinterest. Fun times!

Give Me Liberty
Hi Everyone,
Does your school participate in the Give Me Liberty program? We love it at our school. Our students work hard to memorize important things like the states and capitals, a line from the Gettysburg address, the Preamble, etc. At the end of the year we put on a huge patriotic program using songs and recitations from this program.
Right now my students are trying hard to pass off the states and capitals. I have some huge puzzle pieces of the states for my students to practice with.

We had conferences this week so school dismissed early every day. I'm ready to start the final trimester of school for this year though I have one of those amazing classes you get once in a blue moon.
