I've just completed a unit that I'm really proud of, it's called "Second Grade Safety and Communities" and goes along well with our second grade curriculum! I have street signs you can sort as well as a matching game. I also have a section on the school community including the principal, secretaries, custodian, etc. At the end I've included some fun pages on seat belt safety.
